Arnie Singal, B&N '54
“Family comes first, that's why Ann and I have provided for our children and grandchildren through our will. However, we have extended the definition of family to include Buckingham Browne & Nichols School as well as some of our other favorite charities."
“Please join me and the growing number of individuals and families who have provided for the School's future. By including the School in your will, establishing a life income plan, or naming the School as beneficiary of your retirement plan or insurance policy, you will be welcomed into the Almy Society. I am proud to have served as its Chair and wholeheartedly believe that one of the best investments we can make is in the future students and faculty of our alma mater.”
Arnie Singal was a recipient of the Nichols Prize for his outstanding academic and athletic contributions to the School when he graduated in 1954. Over 30 years, he and his wife Ann dedicated their professional careers to education through the founding and direction of the Exploration Summer Programs for elementary through high school students from throughout the U.S. and the world. They also remained active with their outside interests including bicycling in the many countries they visited on their travels.
Sadly, Arnie passed away in January 2017 but his legacy will live on through his family and, friends, his many professional accomplishments, and at BB&N through the provisions he made for the School in his estate, which will be added to the School’s endowment to support future generations of students and faculty.
